My precious Tommy Tomm you started this when you were born with your heart disease and your ultimate battle on March 14th when you went through your third heart surgery since 2011! Let me be the first to say you are the strongest man I know! You had such a tough battle ahead of you with the replacement of your aortic valve, mitral valve, and entire aortic arch! Lets not forget reconstruction of your coronary arteries and replacement and adjustment of your pacemaker. Your team at CMC MEDICAL CENTER was absolutely phenomenal Tommy they held your hand the whole way! Through your 13 hour surgery, from flying in 5 different size human arches to use for your graft. They worked vigorously on your ECMO machine and stayed by your side the whole week you were on life support when your heart was in failure. They instilled your ventilator when your tired lungs still needed to rest and helped get rid of the fluids you had when you began to fill up. Comfort and Care was their main priority for you kiddo I couldnt have asked for a better facility for you to be in. Unfortunately they could not stop the strokes.
