Rest in peace, Auntie Gina. Last night as I prayed for you to not - TopicsExpress

Rest in peace, Auntie Gina. Last night as I prayed for you to not to suffer with the pain of cancer, I found myself drifting into a dream. In it, I told you how much I always admired you, how much I appreciated all the times I stayed with you for weeks at a time and you treated me like family when other family members in England thought I was a burden. In my dream, you said of course Id bloody treat you like family, you ARE family...and we laughed together. Today I learned that you died around the same time I was dreaming of you; I had felt it in my gut. Every moment I spent with you was spent laughing. I have so many happy memories especially in my teenaged years of you cooking (and teasing me about being vegetarian), pulling pranks, and living life so full of joy and laughter despite the struggles. My heart goes out to my mum and all of my family who love you on both sides of the pond. xxxx
