Rest in peace, John Holt! Performer of the hit song most synonymous with my hometown, Police in Helicopter. On the elementary school playground where I grew up, I would see kids flipping off the DEA helicopters in the sky as they buzzed around searched for, and seized local marijuana gardens. On that note, three out of four marijuana legalization propositions passes in the USA yesterday. Kudos to Oregon, DC, and Alaska. Jeers to Florida. Legalize it!
