Rest in peace, Robin Williams. :( He was always and will - TopicsExpress

Rest in peace, Robin Williams. :( He was always and will always be one of the greatest entertainers. I SO wanted to be him from the first time I saw him on TV. Loved and will always love him so so so so much in Mork and Mindy (first saw on Nick at Nite), Dead Poets Society (had a signed screenshot photo I received and treasured after writing a fan letter), Cadillac Man, Awakenings, Hook, Fern Gully (I was just quoting this on a hike a couple days ago with Meredith !), the first and third Aladdins Laura and I practically wore out our VHS tapes!), Mrs. Doubtfire, To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (always forget hes in it and get so excited when he skitters on screen), Jumanji, The Birdcage (just was gushing over this film with Jacob), Flubber, Goodwill Hunting, What Dreams May Come (I sobbed at with my grandmother), Patch Adams, and everything all the way up to the recently ended The Crazy Ones which everybody should watch if they can (thank you, Michael for telling me about it and insisting I check it out). From his beautiful surviving wife: This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one if its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robins family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robins death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.
