Restaurant Reward System FAIL: I signed up for rewards, eClub, from a local restaurant by providing my email and such like normal. They indicated I would receive a great offer right away and then special offers occasionally during the year. After a month or two I finally received the initial offer of, wait for it, 25% off any appetizer! Wow, can you imagine an entire 25% off an appetizer? I am now very concerned they may go broke if too many use this coupon. Fortunately it expires 7 days after the email was sent, so they may not have to make good on all of them. Doing some quick math and this coupon could end up being worth almost 3 dollars. I have unsubsribed even though I realize that I might get something as spectacular as a free soda on my birthday in the future.
