Restaurant Update: We had a great opening weekend - we started off with about 84 paying customers for our first day! This is better than a lot of my slow days at my old restaurant where we had about 100 seats. Here we have like ...12 . :) Lot of to-go orders and people sitting outside too. My payroll for the week of training and start-up is ridiculous...ahem... gulp... but were ready to start our first full week Monday morning with basically what will be our regular weekly crew - 1 cook, 1 cashier and 1 dishwasher/prep person, plus me. Lets see if we can reach at least 100 customers per day this week and maybe a little extra on Friday and Saturday. I was totally exhausted after all these months of preparation and two long days of buzzing around the building all day...but Im rested today and rarin to go!
