Result from last night! Armagh City U18s 2 v 0 St. Marys F.C. U18s Our lads deserved more from this game - certainly on their second half performance. They started slowly and conceded early in the game. Missed chances proved costly as City scored a second near half time to go in 2 nil ahead at the break. To be fair City definitely had the better of the 1st half and deserved to lead after 45. The second half was a completely different story. Our lads dominated, restricting City to a few attempts on the break. We created chances but unfortunately a combination of excellent defending and an in form goalkeeper and to be honest some pretty bad luck denied us the breakthrough. So it ended 2 nil to City when overall a draw may have been the fairer outcome. Fair play to City though. They are a really good side - we meanwhile can take credit, particularly for a strong second half performance. This was a cracking game, competitive but fair with some excellent quality on display from both sides, an excellent advert for the Mid Ulster Juvenile league and for both clubs - well done to all involved Next up for our 18s a home game v Hillsborough Boys on Saturday. Training for all squads continues tomorrow night (Thursday)
