Results from Round 2 of the NAB National Under 16 Championships being held at Blacktown International Sports Park, Sydney. Round 2 saw the South Pacific take on the World XVIII. The South Pacific team fought very hard all day. Never giving up and took some huge steps forward in their development and learning. A majority of the players came to this carnival with minimal experience in playing games and some would average only up to 10 games a year in there home countries. Although the final score doesn’t reflect how well our boys played, all the coaching staff were very pleased with the improvement from Round 1 to Round 2 and look forward to more improvement in game 3 against WA North West. The World XVIII were very well skilled and drilled, their bigger bodies provided clean football for the rest of their team.
