Results of testing are great! Thanks a million everyone for praying for me. I was comforted and encouraged by you all...and the results of the tests are great. Wednesday they did have the results from my bone marrow biopsy. Absolutely no signs of cancer! There werent even any cells that they were unsure about. As far as my sisters cells in my marrow this biopsy tests for the same thing as my blood test did. So my white cells are still 98% Brookes, and 2% mine. And a specific part of my white cells are 60% Brookes, and 40% mine. The co-head doctor of the bone marrow program, Dr. Silverman, told me that the way my body is going with everything is a textbook case - completely normal... And even better if you count the fact that I havent experienced any of the negative reactions of my body reacting to Brookes cells in me. Also Good News - I wont have to be on a pill that suppresses my immune system for the rest of my life. Actually, in the next 2 months or so I might be able to start decreasing it to wean off of it. One of the nurses told me when I was in the hospital that I would probably be on the pills for the rest of my life. When Dr. Silverman heard this she was visibly upset and said, Who? Who told you that? Do you remember their name? I couldnt remember on the spot. But it made me feel good that she was upset that I was given incorrect information that discouraged me. Dr. Silverman is great. I am very blessed to have her taking care of me. She is a short woman, maybe in her mid-60s, from Portugal. She is very smart, and very encouraging. She has a real sweet heart and compassion flows out of her. Just what a doctor or nurse should be! Thank you Jesus for Dr. Silverman. And thank you Jesus for all of these awesome friends and family of mine who pray for, support, and encourage me. I couldnt make it without them. Peace everybody - Ben
