Resume Fodder: Hound Dog Teething Ring Ole Cedar screamed up on - TopicsExpress

Resume Fodder: Hound Dog Teething Ring Ole Cedar screamed up on Possum Gap right in my face!. I set out grinnin ear to ear lookin out across those beautiful mountains; and, at the same time truly LMBO inside watching Cedar go at it. He mustve bayed like twenty times straight, and was so hyped up I thought he was gonna bust. Got them youngins out before the snow thats comin, and they seemed to know it was something up. They worked that energy off on an odd beautiful day in the mountains in January. Even ole Rascal was kickin it on Bearwallow. Rascal and I are like brothers. This is the first time Ive run lilRuby since she was sick. I cut her run back, but Lord God almighty she had a time. She can beat the boys easily, and routinely does(Lord shes a mess keeping up with out like that). Once today, they were all in front of me and kept running in and out of rays of sunlight coming through the winter bare trees. The scene is really impossible to describe other than beautiful and surreal. Anyways, lilRuby continues to improve, and is her wide-open self again. Im going to baby her a couple more weeks though, and not play around with her diet anymore. Incidentally, my newest resume fodder is hound-puppy teething ring. I got this!!! I aint kiddin. Ruby has literally shredded my arms and hands but not injuring them really. My hair. My ears must taste like pork rinds or something. My hair. My nose. She pulls down my britches in a single attack. Its a long list! My hounds and I (and mom too I think), have become really close this winter. LilRuby got her first tennis ball today, and IS A TERROR with it. She like a flying squirrel runs into the cabinets, slides like a baseball player across the room, and is just a huge amount of fun and satisfaction to watch. The point of that ode to Ruby, is that I saw mama watching her play with her tennis ball today, and a lot of real fun in her eyes too. Its lookin like Ruby is hers, and thats perfectly ok. I keep tellin Ruby shes getting too big to pick up and pet from the floor, but I cant stop. Shell be hittin on 40 pounds when I get her weight back up. So I leave these thoughts, again thinking about Cedar singin songs where possums cross the ancient misty mountains, and how that watching his personality, really was that poetic. We saw each others hearts and minds. Its a hound song.
