Resume: There are some stuffs that I do not agree 100% withing this group, but I accept it because all have a common cause in the fight against what people are spreading about bachata, I think we should stop saying or showing those things. Not trying to make rules here just suggestion, I think we should stop using the word authentic cause that is mean original and is difficult to prove how authentic bachata is dance. Some of the samples that were share here have some kind of influence and to spice it up people add their own flavor. After seeing my video without music, looking at it real good it does not look like bachata at all times but we know is bachata cause we seen it before with music. We should give people the benefit of the doubt and not support this theory anymore. I think we should concentrate more in essence, rhythm , timing, execution and styling (flow). The video that Bruno Chango share is a good example but as stated by the battateros we all dance different, it does not saying that we are going to accept anything but that we are going to be more selective of the methods we are going to use to get people to understand. Also that does not mean we are not going to deal with people like Pierre Henry who came on trying to discredit was us and tell us how Dominicans should dance, no offense Perrie, but you were persistent, lol.
