Resurfacing Water oh water, it is your reckless and wanton nature which captivates and delights me. While My Lord continues to guides me, it is my Lady who walks with me. The simple flow of water caresses our skin while the depth of the still water attracts and beckons me to sink deeper into the chilled darkness. Suddenly, my toe touches upon the sandy bottom. I pause knowing that the free fall is done. Now low on air and resources, I push off the bottom to look above me for a faint sign of light. Its columns struggle to cascade into the depths and the path remains uncertain. I am close now to the surface, the trial has been fantastic, the journey; blessed. I shall emerge from the depths; focused, fierce and faithful.
