Resurrected Lord, Paul taught me that I am more than a conqueror for those that are in Christ Jesus. This very thought brings joy to my heart and peace to my soul. Yet, as I learn how you ascended your throne I understand more clearly that I must be crucified with you. This thought challenges me on every level. For Lord I am weak and often times give into the challenges to my faith. Many times I flee in the face of fears. I let the anxieties of this world lead my decisions rather than putting my full trust in you. But in the quiet moments of the morning I find in solitude your peaceful presence. I discover youve been beside every step of the way. In trial or celebration you have been here. In laughter or sorrow you have been here. These thoughts renew my faith and drive away all my selfish inward desires. Come Holy Spirit and cleanse me from my sin, revive my soul and put a new and right spirit within me. Cleanse my mind from worldly thinking and replace with thoughts of how I can bring about your Kingdom. Give me the courage to speak words of hope to those wounded by the world. Use my hands and energy to speak volumes through actions not just in words. Lord as you have demonstrated your love for me on the cross may I share its power with others. Give me opportunities to witness to your grace. Grant me success that I may give you all the glory. May I be fearless in in face of others judgments rather let me love them with the same love which you bore on the cross. I kneel in humble gratitude for the love youve poured into my soul, now may I surrender to you my all in all that I may love others in and through you. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ the resurrected One, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Amen.
