Retaking the country from Federal corruption grassroots-style By Alexis Tudor America takes pride in its extreme politics, yet unknowingly through that very pride it keeps itself frequently divided so that powerful divisive groups rule while they essentially do not care about any of the parties interests. Essentially, double standards are set up via bribes(lobbying) for a few corporations and robber barons. This is no secret and pretty much anybody would agree that the Feds in D.C. have reached a level of stage IV cancer in ethics and honesty which will eventually consume the country. No party wins from corruption, whether it be the Republican, Democrat, Tea Partier, Green, etc. This may be one of the few points that I feel all parties can agree upon and also the most important point that is overlooked. No amount of liberal or conservative constitutional legislation will protect anybody while unconstitutional laws/actions are being followed by the Feds. So how does DC disseminate its corruption into the country? It generally first corrupts the governors to turn a blind eye to unconstitutional actions--they are the gatekeeper to the state. Then it eventually filters down to the county. Unconstitutional laws will obviously not be embraced by the public, so it has to be enforced through the local police force. The feds entice the police force with excessive funding and paramilitary equipment to control resulting riots. Obviously there will be riots when rulers are misusing the law given to them. Henceforth such paramilitary-like “toys” are given to police which would not be necessary with an ethical police force. Is it easier to go to DC to stop this, or just walk down the street to our county offices? This last is the level where we can stand up practically speaking as we have the power in our county to recall any public officials far easier than on the state or federal levels). Accountability is the only thing that deters corruption while people are power hungry (let us assume they are and will be). If any Sheriff of a county were to accept paramilitary equipment or support actions that are unconstitutional, the community can give him one warning- ditch it or he will be recalled! It’s really that simple. Same with the mayor and judges. You behave or you are out. This is how it is at your job after all, and after all, are not these people our employees? Once the county is secure from federal corruption, it can inspire its neighboring counties, then hit the governor up with accountability parameters. Then on to its neighboring states. Then states refusing corruption will automatically stop the fed, and it can eventually be popped like an ugly whitehead. People have been focusing too much on the head where they have no power. Sometimes a bad head cold is best addressed with some hot spicy soup in the stomach. So in closing before any party has any other agenda, they need to first cooperate to keep corruption out of their county. Once this is tackled and put firmly into place, then the parties can fight over their differences, though I feel this will teach people to cooperate more and to be able to identify the true enemy. Hopefully it will teach people not to polarize over peanuts when their entire freedom is at stake. While the greater population stays enamored by DC it will lose all possibility of cleaning it up.
