Retired superior court judge and former senator Elizabeth Barrett Anderson was sworn-in to serve as the islands 4th elected attorney general. Its a position she previously served when she was appointed to the post in 1987. She commits to an open, transparent, and accessible AGO, as well as one that is accountable and works towards a performance-based budget in order to reflect that accountability. Although she admits the job wont be easy and she has her own track record to live up to, She hopes to inspire good public service and respect for the public and for the work the AGO does for the people of Guam.
