Retiring state Rep. Vicki Berger tells it like it is about the small biz tax cut in last years special session: There is nothing in this small business tax package that actually impacts our joblessness. I have owned a small business and can say for certain that this package would not have in any way encouraged me to hire more. It also would not have led to greater success in my business, but it would have given my personal income a nice boost. Hopefully the 2015 legislature will revisit it and shell come and testify about why it is misguided.
