Retreatment: This #26 was initially treated over 2 years ago. The patient mentioned previous symptoms of acute pain during that time. Clinically there was pain to percussion and tenderness to palpation over #26. The PFM had been adjusted multiple times in an attempt to reduce patient symptoms. Radiographically both pre-ops show loss of obturation length in the mesial and distal roots with a large PA lesion over the MB root. #26 was retreated and a missed MB2 located. Purulent discharge was obtained in the MB systems. True lengths were obtained. Interim CaOH was placed. The final radiographs show the retreatment efforts and obturation of the MB2. The recent recall radiograph is at 6 month showing signs of osseous healing and a new PFM placed by her DDS.
