Returned to my HomeState, Anambra after many months. I am impressed with the beautiful concatenation and labyrinth of finely tarred new roads -- not only in the popular areas -- but mainly inside the villages. Infact, with a good car and a filled fuel tank, you can tour the whole towns/villages of Anambra South and Central (excluding the North o) in few hours as youd surely find all of them linked to the other with fine roads. You may even think we collect the same amount of money with Akwa-Ibom from the Federal Purse while you tour. Heck, were only entitled to about 4 billion naira which is one of the least amongst others! I am also impressed with the level of security and serenity Im seeing in the State after Ive had to only hear about it. I am also impressed with the projects-in-progress, being done by the State Government, even though more and more are required. Plus others. This is not a praise of my State and its Governor. Its only a sideview to the whole mess and disaster presently called Abia State and its present government which bask in spending on friviolities like inviting bloggers and Social Media Influencers to come and eat dishes and sleep in cozy hotels and tour the despicable state of Abia State and write what it wants and NOT what is the Truth. Meanwhile, theres no single good road in Aba. Do Abia People visit Anambra State? Has Theodore Ahayaefula Orji been to Anambra recently not just Oka, the State Capital? Are Orji and those corrupt elders of Abia State aware that they collect more money than Anambra from the Federal Purse each month coupled with the IGR that comes from Aba? Are the people of Abia State aware that Anambra former gov. Peter Obi was doing very well yet he was the most criticized by his fellow Anambrarians? Are some of those abyssmally lazy political, traditional and social media elders from Abia aware that no matter how well Obiano tries to perform Anambra elders, middle-aged and youths will ever keep his toes on fire and demand better from him; and that if he tries to play any T.A Orji here, he will be carried on the head to the exit door the next morning? Are Abians aware that Anambrarians cant imagine Obiano inviting scores of bloggers/Facebookers here to come and eat chicken and sleep in air-conditioned hotels and tour the state at the expense of our hard-earned income even if na ego anyi na-aghafuzi aghafu? Maka gini? To write a report on Obianos achievements? Fa a na-apu ala?! E tinyebero ndi nkuzi ego nugwo onwa; akaro lusia uzo niine; akaro lusia otutu ife o fokwa nke a na-enye ndi bloggers. Mscheeeeeew! Ndi Abia, get serious and do the needful. Any mistake next election means a total of 16 -- even 24 -- years of unimaginable woe!
