Returned yesterday from challenging the Tennessee Department of Saftey and Homeland security who attempted to seize a young mans pickup truck and make it property of the State. The truck was paid for with no lien of any kind through hard work of the young man. There is just something wrong with a system that took six months to get a hearing before the truck was returned. Six months of being without a vehicle that he paid for because the government wants to own it. Our State legislatures have permitted a government agency to write its own rules that permit the taking of citizens property in a way most advantageous to the government. A large first step in handing over what used to be a free country, the taking of citizens property. Now that this is a source of funding for police agencies, they will never surrender that source that pays their payroll so repealing such a law will be very difficult. Be blessed and live free, Frank
