Returning home from walking the dogs, staff came upon a leopard lizard with another lizard in its mouth. We thought the lizard in the mouth was dead as it was not moving even when the leopard ran. When a vehicle was approaching, we attempted to get the lizards off to the side of the road. But the leopard turned and faced me in an act of aggression. Possibly thinking I was going to take the meal from it. Another step forward and the leopard dropped its prey, who came back alive, and both ran at me. Yep, I jumped. (sb)
