Dr. Steve Wallings Insight into the above quote: The old thoughts, old traditions and the old way of thinking supported this conscious unawareness, this ‘sleep’ and thus humankind experienced limitation, hardship and a sense of being apart from God, or being an unconnected solitary being with God as something ‘out there.’ As the awakened masters and teachers began to teach the unity of all creation a new thought a new way of seeing one’s place in creation began to make its awareness in the consciousness of humankind. Humanity has for so long accepted the ‘what-is-ness’ of itself as just the life experience to be struggled through. One would get to the end of the life’s journey and then if everything was in the right order (depending on one’s particular creed), one would then be the recipient of some kind of ‘next life’ reward. The enlightened, the mystics and the ancient spiritual masters knew a different knowing. This knowing was the result of a spiritual awakening of consciousness from the ‘sleep’ of living life at the ‘what-is-ness’ level. The realization of Truth, the knowing that what is called the miraculous is the norm. God and man are one. There is a divine center within all and all is enveloped in the One. Humanity is more than it thinks it is. It is more than it knows but, ever so slowly it is beginning to awaken to the reality of a new dawn, a new day and a new way of expressing the infinite within. I and my Father are truly one! Affirmation For Today: Today I express my exceptionalism. Today I declare that I accept nothing less than the entirety of my Father’s gift.
