I always felt a call to the priesthood since I can remember, but my call as an OSFS Priest was sealed at Northeast Catholic High School. Who had the greatest influence on you becoming an Oblate and why? Tom Hagan, OSFS and Jim Behan, OSFS — through out high school they taught me by their lives and through their ministry how to be human — broken and at the same time loved by God. What do you feel has been the greatest blessing in your life? My parents and the faith that they passed on to me. What do you find most inspiring about our Catholic social teaching? That the written word only comes to life through action. What captures your heart or imagination about the life of Jesus? His recognition of the dignity of each person he encountered. How do you feel the Holy Spirit moving in the Church today? The Holy Spirit is always moving the Church to renewal. What is your favorite Bible story or passage? Micah 6:8…To act justly, to love tenderly, and to walk humbly with your God. What is one skill you wish you had? Playing the piano/organ.
