Rev. Thomas A. Cangelo Jr, age 66, of Tionesta, PA, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at his home in Tionesta surrounded by his family. He was born March 30, 1947 in Volga, West Virginia, son of the late Thomas Anthony and Wanda (Pittman) Cangelo. Tom worked most of his life as a salesman in wholesale distribution. He was a retired pastor and previously pastored at the Shamburg Church of God in Pleasantville, PA. He enjoyed playing the trombone and played in the Mostly Brass band of Oil City, PA. He served his country during Vietnam in the US Navy. Surviving are a son, Brian T. Cangelo and his fiancée Wendy Sloss of Leeper, PA. A daughter, Jami Cangelo of Erie, Pa. 3 grandchildren, Tomi L. Cangelo and Hannah Wolfe, both of Edinboro, PA. Quinton Cangelo of Strattanville, PA. Mother of his children, Ruthann Cangelo, of Edinboro. Several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a son, Jason T. Cangelo, who just died this past August. A brother, Fred Williams. A sister Annie Graham. There will be no public visitation. Services will be held in West Virginia at a later date. Burial will be alongside his parents in Philippi, West Virginia. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J.
