Revelation 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ This morning I felt the prompting of The Lord to go back, to start over in chapter one. I felt like I had missed something. I am so thankful for those teachers of the word and their insight into all the truths of the word and how they lead us deeper into our relationship with the savior. I am so thankful for the Holy Spirits nudges, and the opening of our eyes to see Him, really see Jesus. Its not about the facts , although facts are important, its not about prophecy of things to come, its not even about revelations, the unveiling of what things mean or why. It about Jesus: A hymn by Charles Haddon Spurgeons says it all if now with eyes defiled and dim, We see the signs, but see not him; O may His love the scales displace, and bid us see Him face to face. Its all about Jesus, its all about knowing and loving the savior. A friend said to me you are way more committed and I pondered this commit for many days. Shared it with my husband and felt it was an untrue statement. It isnt about commitment although I am . It about Jesus. Hes my friend, hes my love, hes has my heart. I want to spend time with my friend, he wants to spend time with me. I feel him waiting for me every morning. We share and talk, and I get to know Him better. He already totally knows me. As we journey together through the books of the bible and Jesus reveals his truths and shows you the way, dont loose the relationship ( that bride and groom ) with the one who loves you the best . Spend time with Jesus, get to know His voice, trust His direction and give in to His discipline. He is the best friend and the only savior we will ever have. Love to you today.
