Revelation 2:6 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. As parents we always taught our children that to hate, or to say I hate was so strong a word that it was not nice to say that. You could say I really dont like so and so, or I dont like that food etc. Here, written in red is the word HATE. Standing out strong and meaning filled. God HATES the deeds not the doer. God HATES the sin but loves the sinner. Do you hate sin, sin in others as well as sin in ourselves. So many times we see sin in other but dont see it in ourselves. Here on earth we are in a battle, a war really against satan, the world views and our flesh. The ideas that are thrown at us everyday find there roots in the evil one. Satan is patience, slow, and subtle in his approach to sway us in a different direction. Our grandparents, our great grandparents would have a hissy over the things of this world we have over time accepted. Legally killing babies, marriages part from Gods divine plan for a husband and a wife, acceptance of all belief systems, the soaring divorce rates and I could go on and on. God HATES sin and yet we have turned a blind eye to it because the devil is good at what he does. We start out slowly believing his lies and before you know it we are stuck. The bible is the thing we need to measure our lives by. If God say dont, then dont. There is no compromise to the word of truth. There is no justification found in His word. When I open my bible I find love there, I find freedom there, I find hope there and I find forgiveness there. Kill sin in your life that is destroying your heart and your fellowship with the savior. Stop pushing aside your sin under the guise of God loves me no matter what. He does love you and wants to give you a spirit filled heart. Your whole heart not just part of it. Walking free is so much better then walking guilty, walking forgiven will give you a new bounce to your step. Look to the word and fellowship with God and he will show you what needs to be cleaned out and replaced with him. Stop believing the things of the world. Stand strong in the love of God. And let Gods word flow from you and free others also. Stop, listen to the Holy Spirit, be strong in The Lord and the power of His might. Kill sins hold on you by the power that raised Christ from the dead. Greater is He, Jesus, who lives in you then he, satan, who lives in the world. If God asked it of you He will give you the power to overcome. God calls you because He believes in you and He will be strong in you when you feel weak. Surrender all to Jesus, heart , soul and body. You will be so thankful you did. Christs yoke is so much lighter and easier to bare. Trust Him today and watch the miracle happen in your heart today. Love you all.
