Rebuke ~~~~ to expose, ....... to show you your faults, ........ to convict, to convince you Chasten ~~~~~ to instruct, ........ to train, ........ to discipline, ... to punish for the purpose of better behavior ....... To educate, as an on-going matter, in accord with rules and proper conduct. DOES JESUS LOVE US? ...... Yes , He does! As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: BE ZEALOUS therefore, and REPENT. ( ZEALOUS - feel an attitude or emotion of deep concern) Repent ~~~~~ To change any or all of the elements composing ones life: ATTITUDES, THOUGHTS, and BEHAVIORS CONCERNING THE DEMANDS of GOD for RIGHT LIVING. JESUS LOVES US! .... Because of His love He will show us our faults and instruct, train, educate, discipline and punish if necessary to bring about the behavior that is pleasing to God. We are told to be zealous and make the changes that are necessary! AND IF WE LOVE HIM, ...... WE WILL COMPLY! Amen!
