#Revenge 2ª temporada Final Review - 'Verdade' Uma pessoa que não vai fazer a terceira temporada é Declan, que era o prometido "lá desde o início" acidente no final. Sua morte parecia muito conveniente, na verdade, como quem sabe por que ele estava no 27 º andar quando a bomba explodiu? Eu teria sido mais convencido de que ele foi atingido por alguns destroços que caiu da explosão porque senão estamos aparentemente significava acreditar que Conrad possivelmente enganou os dois irmãos Porter. Independentemente disso, Declan estava caindo em desuso ao longo desta temporada de qualquer maneira por isso não é terrivelmente chocante que ele conseguiu o machado, além de que há a vantagem adicional de que sua morte vai empurrar histórias de outras pessoas com visão de nada mais do que seu irmão Jack. Jack está cheio de raiva com a morte de Declan, e ele ainda quer matar Conrad. Felizmente, Emily pede para ele parar e, nesse momento, revela a ele a verdadeira Amanda Clarke. Eu não acho que Jack vai entende-la tão bem, mas eu sinto que a próxima temporada pode muito bem incluí-lo sendo trazido com Emily que mostra um papel de mentora com ele, como Takeda fez uma vez com ela. Revenge Season 2 Finale Review - 'Truth' One person who won’t be making it to season three is Declan, who was the promised “been there since the beginning” casualty in the finale. His death seemed all too convenient really, as who knows why he was up on the 27th floor when the bomb blew? I’d have been more convinced if he was hit by some debris that fell from the explosion because otherwise we’re seemingly meant to believe that Conrad possibly tricked BOTH Porter brothers up onto that floor. Regardless, Declan was falling into disuse over this season anyway so it’s not terribly shocking he got the axe, plus there’s the added bonus that his death will push other people’s storylines forward—none more so than his brother Jack. Jack is full of rage the entire finale and Declan’s death sends him so far over that he wants to murder Conrad. Luckily, Emily stops him and in that moment reveals herself to him as the real Amanda Clarke. I don’t think Jack’s going to take it all that well, but I feel like next season could very well include him being brought in with Emily and show her taking on a mentor role with him as Takeda once did with her.
