Review: Tokyo Marui 1911 Night Warrior. The TM Night Warrior - TopicsExpress

Review: Tokyo Marui 1911 Night Warrior. The TM Night Warrior is the gun I use as my sidearm when out playing. Personally? I love mine- and I have made it suit me better with the addition of a couple of extras! As with all TMs the frams and slide are plastic, along with the OB, and (removable, if youre happy to have two great big holes in the frame...) rail. Other than that, almost everything else is metal. It shoots well out the box with the TM Fairy Dust in the hop unit working its magic (even though the gun only shoots about 300fps on Green Gas), and in no time it was achieving good range. Personally, I thought it was dropping a little too early, so I decided to buy a Maple Leaf TBB and hop bucking from Milspec Solutions. The range and accuracy are much better for this cheap upgrade (only £20). One irritating feature of the gun is the flush fitting slide stop. It makes it almost impossible to do a field strip in the field, as you really need a punch of some sort to push it out far enough that you can grip it. Ive since bought a 1911A1 style rounded slide stop, which Im waiting for to arrive. Another small niggle I had was the stock grips: they werent very grippy. Made of hard, not very textured plastic, they were slipping too much in the rain (which in Scotland is pretty frequent, I guess), so I purchased another set of grips: Real Steel Magpul 1911 grips from Daves Custom Airsoft, which luckily were a drop fit with to alteration required. Other than that, Ive put a handgun torch on it and not much else- Im going to fit some uprated springs in the near future, though. -SlowMo.
