In some respects, almond and cherry notes are seldom used in masculine perfumery and hence the opening for someone who hasn’t done their research might receive a cloudy haze of notes and may be described broadly as ‘uncoordinated’, ‘thick’, or perhaps even ‘a mess’. With time the milky almond note permeates the blend, making me ‘temporarily enamoured’.
