Review of Outback Steakhouse, Warrenton, VA. outback/Restaurant/Locations/VA/Warrenton/Warrenton?gclid=CNq29vT668ECFUUV7AodmEMAnw# I highly recommend you go online and book the wait list if after 5pm to prevent a long wait for a table especially, at the weekend. Link above to the website to do that. I booked a table online for 5pm Saturday for my family of four. The place was starting to get busy and we were shown to our table within 5 minutes. On being seated we were immediately greeted by our server Neil. He took out drinks order and brought out some fresh bread and butter. One of the thing I enjoy about Outback is the fact they have real cloth napkins. The kids drinks came with the cute kangaroos on the cups. They have a decent wine list and cocktails, largers and beers one can order. My son absolutely loves the milkshakes here more because they come in a quarter pint size glass bottle very similar to what we used to be handed at school in England back in the seventies. My children and husband finished off the bread and they immediately brought out another without us asking. The childrens food was brought out first so they could tuck in. I have to say the chicken tenders were pretty good, the bread coating tasty and of course they came with the Aussie fries. I ordered the most expensive dish on the menu the lamb. I ordered it to be cooked medium and it came medium along with mashed potatoes and sides of mixed vegetables with a cabernet sauce on the side which, was rich and delicious. My husband ordered Alice Springs chicken with the honey mustard dressing on the side rather than over the chicken. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The Alice chicken had mushrooms and bacon inside with a side of Aussie fries. You can easily swap out the side if you wish. I feel outback is one of the better chain restaurants in the area, the service is excellent, the food consistent so, we recommend you try it but earlier in the evening as it gets rather crowded and loud. It is a great place to take your family. They have a nice kids coloring booklet they give them and my kids always get a kick out of seeing the blokes and Sheilas restroom names. Yes so a little more expensive than many of the chains but worth it. More pictures of all the food just click through.
