In seeking answers about factory farming a young student uncovers the awful truth of how all humans who consume animal products are directly (and indirectly) blindly supporting cruelty to animals and unethical commercial interests (which rebound in human ill-health and environmental disasters). The word speciesism is used as a concept to aid understanding that humans discriminate against animals. Living in the UK some of the footage and expressions were particular to the US but didnt detract from the films mission to awaken consciousness to the suffering of animals. May the film help to bring real harmony, real health and real happiness to all living beings (all species). I saw the premiere in Los Angeles, and was one of the first to stand for the well-deserved standing ovation. This is a film that makes a tremendous philosophical case for the equality of all species, in a fun and entertaining way.
