Revival Now Matt. 4:17 Revival start with repentance; repentance is a decision that results in a change of mind, which in turn leads to a change of purpose and action. Repentance is overcoming human nature which is a process that begins by realizing the pointlessness of the world with its satanic influences, and the senselessness of one’s own conduct and tendencies. This is the first step toward genuine, true repentance. This opens the door to real and lasting change. This transition is always accompanied by an opening of the mind to the truth to which the world has been blinded. Repentance is not a word that God uses to put fear in the hearts of people, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but it a positive word from God to let us know we are going the wrong way turn around change the way you are thanking. Our first assignment in the ministry of reconciliation is to answer God’s call for repentance regarding our own independence. Left to our own devices we tend toward self-centeredness and chaos, but coming to God in a spirit of humble repentance opens up a way for peace and reconciliation to flow. Then we may focus on helping people to be reconciled to God. Without a righteous standard from the church this nation will not see revival, judgment will start at the house of God.
