Revival, Revival, Revival! Well, you pray for; ask God to send - TopicsExpress

Revival, Revival, Revival! Well, you pray for; ask God to send one; then you sit back and wonder if He truly will. I don’t know about anyone else, but I have felt that God has met with us over the last two days. The attendance alone tells me that BBC of Hazlehurst wants to see God demonstrate his mighty power in us. I do wish that all of Hazlehurst could experience God’s touch as we have experienced it. Well, it is easy to get ahead of myself, but let me begin with Sunday. We were blessed as Max Alderman began our Revival services with a great message during Sunday school. We had 77 in attendance in SS and then 90 showed up for the AM service. He delivered another great message in the AM service. Surprisingly, 68 showed up for the PM Service and again the Lord blessed us so much. I guess tonight was the “kicker.” What a spirit of jubilation among us during the service! God seemed to move in and warm our hearts. I can hardly wait for tomorrow night. Did I tell you we had 74 tonight? I am looking for a greater number tomorrow and maybe even break 100 by Wednesday night. I never would have dreamed that God would smile upon us as he has. But he certainly has and I am grateful. It goes to show you that God still wants to bless His children. I believe that the reason God does not send revival is because we are not expecting Him to do so. I am expecting greater and mightier things from my God; He is able to do exceeding, abundantly more than we ask or think.
