His sound progressed quickly to the more electronic sounds of Techno...Hardcore...Breakbeat Hardcore, which then of course turned into Jungle. It was at this point (’94) he acquired the name “Jungle John”. As the Jungle & Drum n Bass movement progressed, his skills did as well. LTJ Bukem was one of his greatest influences at this time. The release of the Logical Progression series brought out a new style of Drum n Bass which led to his “J-Logic” alias being born (’96). Being one of a handful of DJs in the Chicagoland area spinning Atmospheric Drum n Bass, He quickly got in tight with the local scene & joined up with DJ 3D’s “Future Forces Crew”. J-Logic has spun at some of Chicagos bigger raves alongside some of the best Drum n Bass DJs Chicago had to offer, including DJ 3D, Danny The Wildchild, Snuggles, Kid Entropy, Phantom 45... and so many more. Currently, J-Logic is producing Jungle, Future Jungle, Nu Skool Breaks, and Drum & Bass.
