Revolutionary Greetings Cde President Jacob Zuma,ANC National &ANC NWC I welcome you in the Nelson Mandela Bay Region today,a region named after one of our stalwarts and icon,Tata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. As you will be meeting and interacting with ANC Regional leadership,branches and councilors, you must understand very well that there would be those who will be feeding you with a rosy picture, both in the local state (Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality) and organisational. Fact of the matter those who will be doing that are those thriving under the current decaying if our movement and the total collapse of the local state. Depuations,delegations,letters and appeals gave reached your offices giving the bad political situation facing this region and the continued loss of electoral support for our glorious movement in the 2009 national ekections,2011 local govt elections,2014 national elections and recent loss of Ward 42 in Kwanobuhle (Uitenhage)in the recent by elections last month. Most importantly the ANC NWC must look at the following issues: 1.High levels of corruption in the IPTS project. 2.Continued looting if public resources in the local state. 3.Non adherence of supply chain processes in the local state. 4.Slow pace of service delivery. 5.ANC REC has been in office since May 2012 but gas never convened a properly constituted Regional General Council to look at the state of the organisation,local govt and elections. 6.Continued employment of friends into senior strategic positions in the local state to advance interests of some senior REC leaders. 7.The continued killing of structures in order to ultimately dislodge our movement from the local state. 8.The continued purge of seasoned comrades from structures. 9.To look as to why IPTS buses are still idling in a certain bush in Mark man since October 2013 but the local state is spending millions every month in marketing the project and its bus fleet. 10.A lifestyle audit must be conducted against certain REC leaders so as to explain how did they accumulated the wealth that they possess since holding office in 2009. 11.Disband the ANC REC(Nelson Mandela Bay)as from today cause they gave failed to lead society,membership,organization and the local state. 12.Reshuffle the Mayoral Committee with immediate effect and redeploy some experienced cadres who are in other spheres of govt including those in the private sector to beef up our municipality including political leadership. 13.Appoint a political champion for the Umthombo project. 14.Appoint a Tas Team that will prepare branches to a regional conference in May 2015.
