Revolutionary notes from last night -- Message for the family: Excellent discussion on last nights call with Timothy Anderson, Chuzz Hunter, Matt Sadzewicz, Beth Payne, Laura Schleifer, Eric Gardner, Tyler and Cameron (Hoping the last two are added to the group by the end of the day, can you do that Timothy and Beth, respectively). Notes - 1) Serenity Family will act as a nexus for other organizations doing amazing work, our first affinity-affiliation will be to foster communication with the group Beth works with in Arizona, offering time, assistance and a space for communication both nationally and internationally. 2) Serenity Family will continue to look to establish a house here in Eugene where houseless folks and travelers can organize, connect and work within the familys Committee to Abolish Capitalism. By both creating spaces and organizing services, the house will act as a wrap-around center of activity for social care and welfare and radical anti-capitalist political organizing. It will also be devoted to education in the fields of philosophy, survival, farming, etc. based on who is taking residency there. 3) Serenity Family will seek to establish strong ties between the internally displaced economic refugees of amerikkka, the houseless, and Palestinians, one of the largest groups of houseless, state-less people in the world, starting with dialogue between our new co-Chairs and Palestinians. 4) Serenity Family will not have a representative but will act as a space to organize, collaborate, read, share and move the discourse around houselessness from one of homeless to economic refugees of capitalism in the US and to connect these issues with folks displaced throughout the world using Skype, email and Facebook. 5) The organizing arm of the Serenity Family will be called an International Committee to Abolish Capitalism. (More on this in the next post). 6) The Serenity Family affirms our solidarity with the group in Arizona, Beth please provide your information here, along with Muslims in the US and elsewhere, stands against both xenophobia and Islamophobia and supports full amnesty for internationally displaced refugees living in the US.
