Rewarding relationships What makes a relationship worthwhile is the ability of one person to give freely to another. What makes a relationship flourish is the heart-felt contribution of one person to another. People who only want to take and give nothing in return, find that they only end up with very shallow relationships. People who live only to get find that they dont get much out of living. If you want your relationships to be rich and fulfilling, learn to give from the best that is you. If you want your relationships to be satisfying and rewarding, learn to act in ways that improve the well-being of the other person. Your life is made better when you make the life of others better. What you give, in tangible and intangible ways, comes back to you in expected and unexpected ways.
