Rewatched Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed, the documentary by Ben Stien. Things have sort of calmed down between the Richard Dawkins/Michael Hitchens types for a brief armistice it seems. Life and death have a way of refocusing everyone eventually. The war still wages on though. I hear Bill Maher and other evangelical atheists lumping faith in God together with all religion. I hear people equating the reason there was a demand for the Reformation due to abuses of liberty and freedom in education in the name of Religion; suppressing the Truth about why so many faithful Catholics who love Jesus, saw their loyalty to Rome and religious tradition as a much less important priority than understanding and practicing the example set by Christ. Another gun tragedy today. Why? The Second Amendment and religion? No. Control freaks who masquerade as public servants or religious leaders or responsible, accountable citizens who actually will use any means necessary she they dont get their way to make other people feel their pain and disappointment with or without the consent of other people who surround them. Religion and faith and technology are not the enemy. People who dont respect our Common Creator or that we are made in His image and worthy of respect are the problem.
