Reza Aslan lays the smack down!! What an articulate and intelligent fellow. Im currently reading his book Zealot. Hes a first rate scholar who is asking people (media) to be critical about what they say and who they generalize about, regardless of religion. Its too easy for media to fan flames of hate and propagate an agenda of generalizing Islam and Muslims. Free speech is essential, from Bill Maher or Reza Aslan. However, intentional misinformation and lack of critical thought from those in media, whom are bestowed with a responsibility to inform the public, can subvert the entire notion of free speech.
