Rhode Island voters (not including myself) approved $78,000,000 in higher education bonds in 2010 --($61 million for a new chemistry building at URI & $17 mil for an addition to the art Ctr at RIC). In 2012, RI voters (not including myself) voted to approve $50,000,000 for renovations and modernization to health & nursing facility buildings at RIC. Less than 2 weeks ago, RI voters (not including myself) approved $184,000,000 for a new college of engineering building at URI. Looks like its paying off well for our graduates. providencejournal/news/education/20141112-graduates-of-r.i.-colleges-have-fourth-highest-average-student-loan-debt-in-nation.ece
