Richard Cedano Today in my way to work I had to see a dog die in my arms due to poisoning, probably by a neighbor trying to get rid of strays that devaluate his real estate or probably even by the City, that dont know better. It was the most horrific way to die, as he was begging me with his eyes to save him, I tried to catch a taxi cab to rush him to a vet, the cabs never stopped, and the only that did, in the second that he saw the dying dog and my own, he refuse to take us, and i exploded in his face, Then I tried to take the dog in my arms to run to a vet, and he died . As I feel frustrated with the outcome of the situation, I cant let go I cant let go of the feeling that I fail saving a life, and i cant let go that a life was wasted in order to make someones house or street prettier or even worst, a politician just protecting his stupid job. Thats the reason im writing to you. Becuase I understand that you and lots of humans around the world still care about our smaller brothers and sisters. It is because people like you, that understands that no ammount of money in the world is enough to make us happy but maybe the wet nose of our dear companions is enough. Thank you for your hard work, and for not letting money or other superficial reasons to interfere in this labour of love. Now more tan ever we need warriors like yourselves ,to fight agaisnt the people that , in order to make another dirty buck, are about to destroy not just our beloved pets and animals, but our future, that people that puts the financial system ahead of our ecosystem is about to destroy, if their gamble doesnt work like they want it to work, the only planet we have. People like you understands that we can survive without the financial system, we as a civilization, been doing it for thousands of years. But some people do not get that If the situation that is in the horizon gets out of control, NOTHING will survive what is coming, not even the algii and bacteria that grows around the volcanic fumes in the deepest of the oceanic trenches will survive. And we will lost the incredible chance that we have to experience life as we know it. We as an specie have the duty to protect our Earth and preserve it for future generations, we want to give to our kids a better planet, with clean rivers and oceans, with healthy ecosystems and animal populations We now more tan ever have to fight for them Life as we know it.. its a precious and rare gift in our Universe, we live in a very delicate balance with our Sun Star, not too far, not too close And we are about to waste that opportunity to make money Feel free to publish my letter Best Richard Cedano, Cusco Peru
