Richard Scotford put it so convincingly. Voting from a pool of candidates, be it 2 or 3 or 20 or 30, all pre-chosen by chi-na, is nothing but a window dressing exercise to make it appear to the world that Hong Kong has some kind of pseudo democracy. We Hongkongers will be giving the so called democratically elected CE (chief eunuch) a mandate to formulate policies that benefit the regime up north, to restrict our freedom, to destroy our social fabric in the name of integrating with the motherland. This reform package must be vetoed. We will be better of staying in this situation than descending into further abyss of despair.
