Richard Twiss was supposed to preach my funeral (my plans) but he - TopicsExpress

Richard Twiss was supposed to preach my funeral (my plans) but he left this world without fulfilling my wishes. Terry Leblanc was to MC the funeral too. Terry is still with me and hopefully he can do this for me some day (no, I am not sick and dying!). Richard has been gone for better than a year and a half and he still time travels to me and reduces me to tears. I love Leonard Cohen, and together with Bob Dylan they are my closest musical friends. I just got this latest CD of Leonard Cohen called Popular Problems. Please play this song Did I Ever Love You at my funeral. Cry in private and cry in the street or just tell me to FO but just know my heart trembles and weeps in this song from hidden places in me. My children, the mother of my children, and all who have invaded my heart are in this simple but deep song. Did I ever love you Did I ever need you Did I ever fight you Did I ever want to Did I ever leave you Was I ever able Or are we still leaning Across the old table Was it ever settled Was it ever over And is it still raining Back in November The lemon trees blossom The almond trees whither Was I ever someone Who could love you forever Did I ever love you Does it really matter Did I ever fight you You dont need to answer Did I ever leave you Was I ever able And are we still leaning Across the old table Read more: Leonard Cohen - Did I Ever Love You Lyrics | MetroLyrics https://youtube/watch?v=Wo0C1_wb8yA
