Richie Evans Music is delighted to be working throughout 2014 with Bristol-based music promotions company Mark Venus Music to provide quality live music at Evolution in Exeter every Saturday afternoon from 1pm throughout the year. These performance opportunities are paid (they will ideally suit solo or duo acts as it is not a huge amount, but will certainly cover expenses) and will run every Saturday from 1pm throughout 2014. For acts who have not performed there before, or who do not work with either Richie Evans Music or Mark Venus Music on a regular basis, there is potentially the opportunity to perform at Evolution for free, also on a Saturday, between 2-3pm. Musicians playing for free will be provided with light refreshments (soup or sandwiches) and drinks, and if the venue like what they see, then they will recommend you to the booking promoters for possible paid slots. Other potential spin-offs are that as both Richie Evans Music and Mark Venus Music work closely with many venues throughout the South West, and if an act catches our ear, or is appropriate for some of the venues we provide acts for, then paid opportunities may arise at other locations in the future.
