Richmond Park Marathon completed today in 5hrs and some seconds (tbc). A challenging course for me made all the more difficult by the heat. :-) I love running in this beautiful park, even today in the searing sunshine. The course consisted of one 12 mile circuit followed by two laps of the Tamsin Trail - yes, I walked that hill on both occasions! Garmin free so only a glance at my running watch at every mile marker, pretty pleased with my pace especially with the walking, stop for photos, loo stop and stops at the fuel stations. Great work out there everyone at RP, GBR, Brathay, Chester, Manchester and elsewhere today. Great support from the marshals and spectators during and post run, nice to actually run a mara within 25 minute drive from home too. :-) I hope the rest of you are enjoying this beautiful day so far.
