Rick Perry stood up to a drunken, disgraced Travis County District Attorney who is the head of the States Public Integrity unit. He pressed for her resignation after her conviction for DWI and abusive behavior toward law enforcement. Now her office gets political revenge claiming the Gov abused his office. This is a perversion of justice and a sad day for Texas. Whatever your opinion of Gov. Perry might be, in this case he acted with courage and conviction. In the liberal twighlight zone of Austin, doing right is a crime.
