Rick Skagen I spoke to WIND and found out they are indeed administering the SIS the evaluation document that will be used to rate our children. The troubling thing is that they will not interpret the data/ results of the information. The raw test will be sent back to the state for them to rate/ score this information. I would like to know if they have had any formal training from the test company? Who will be doing this analysis of this information (specific name and training/ qualification?) and then my final part of this question is this not a conflict of interest? If not explain. My second question is that there are agencies around the region that are gearing up for the new case management model. They are calling individual case managers and trying to make deals. How are some agencies in the lead with this and so many have no idea how/ where to go next? Why do some seem to have more information or preferential treatment while other do not? How are they going to make sure large agencies do not just start a separate business but do the same work? My case manager 17years only does case management, why does the division feel this is a conflict of interest? And how are they going to compensate for the incredible service this person has offered us for 17 years. It will not be the same quality of representation.
