Rick bought a bike shortly after I did. Biking, unlike running, is an expensive sport, especially if youre going for speed. So, in an effort to save money, Rick purchased all of his gear at Walmart. Now, theres nothing wrong with Walmart, in fact that is where I purchased my 2 carat diamond earrings, but lets just say his gear was not even similar to that of the Men of Steel team; Rick was instead on the Men of Walmart team. I only wish I had taken a picture because it would be worth more than a thousand words in this case. A couple of days ago I asked him if he would ride his bike beside me while I ran, despite the bad bike shorts; he refused saying that it would be too slow for him. Hmmm-did he not recall my Rocky themed encouragement and turtle pace when he was beginning to run?! Anyway, I went running tonight and saw a cyclist on 7th St. out of the corner of my eye. It looked like Ricks bike but it didnt look like Rick. The man I saw was decked out in snazzy racing gear with special pedal clip shoes and the whole shebang. The cyclist crossed over and approached me and by gosh, it was Rick! Apparently someone has been shopping on eBay. Lance Jr., minus the doping, followed behind me all the way home but he failed to sing an inspirational tune, which was disappointing.
