Rick is doing better: fever has gone down from a high fever to a low grade. Swelling in his body from fluids has gone down considerably. Sedation lowered some so he is more awake and aware of more around him. Breathing tube to be removed in a few days. Plans to do a trach and praying very hard that his muscles work in his diaphragm to let him breathe on his own. Not yet likely but praying for him just the same. Thank you to all who continue to pray and send wishes of strength and comfort. Love you all.
