In the isolated #village of Enshi prefecture, Central China’s Hubei Province, villagers have to ride in an iron #cage to travel in and out of the village. For 17 years, nearly 200 villagers’ #transportation has depended on this steel rope #cableway, which is 1,000 meters long and 480 meters above the ground. Is there another way? Yes. You can make your way out on foot, which will take a whole day, as the valleys are deep and cliffs are steep.
